Public Policy Manager, Russia

Facebook is seeking a Public Policy Manager to coordinate pro-active policy initiatives in Russia and the EEU. This role will report to the head of Public Policy Russia, and will lead on economic and community impact programs; engage with policy stakeholders and civil society to understand how Facebook can best serve these communities; drive innovative campaigns to address these stakeholders’ priorities; and support the company’s interactions with policy makers. The role will focus primarily on Russia - but also covering countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. This is a permanent, full time position and is based in our Warsaw office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with policymakers, civil society, think tanks, and NGOs to advance policy goals of Facebook
• Create a strategy to engage with policy stakeholders and civil society, coordinate with other team members to ensure a consistent approach to stakeholder engagement, and manage engagement planning and process for various stakeholder events
• Develop and lead innovative programs for outreach to policy makers on the opportunities offered by Facebook and be ready to scale success stories on a regional level
• Represent Facebook in meetings with government officials at public events
• Represent Facebook at meetings and conferences. With event support, conceptualize and execute events for stakeholder groups
